In Stock and Price History Report
Reports can only be accessed from product pages when logged in and if data has been collected after 05/11/2012.
This needs some explanations and is probably long overdue.
GameStock price history reports are tied to ids. During the course of time when one bundle becomes obsolete another one takes it place the ids remain unchanged to keep a constant chart. For example an Amazon Xbox One with 1 game stays that way. Note the game title is less important than you might think as console bundles tend to fall into price groups.
Groups Rule {No game, 1 game, 2 games, 1 membership + game etc.} Secondly, if more than one console bundle is being tracked by the same retailer then it’s going to be constant as well for the price will track that retailers price on that model console for 2 games using the groups rule above. So one tracks the lowest price the other the second lowest price. Price differences do vary hugely depending on time of year and stock and their best deal might be a mega bundle with 4 games one day then a solos console the next day. Ultimately and to remain consistent if a retailers cheapest bundle has 4 games included and that’s all they have in stock then the price chart reflects that. That’s why it’s best for us to track the consoles and bundles separately using constant ids and have a better comparison page in doing so.
Recently, it’s not been worth all the hard work keeping the data of hundreds of in/out stock dates. So we drop unloved price charts. Do you want us to keep it, than share it - it's that simple. From time to time the price history and stock info gets cleaned up, because often retailers do a full resets across their whole site and all prices go to 999.99 as some type of product refresh or database restore possibly. Because the prices and stock checkers run automatically at GameStock on hundreds of products it’s not something we care about unless the price drops and the item must be in stock, then email price alerts get sent out to subscribers.
A quick explanation on price drops: the price must be cheaper than the best price saved in Your Subs and it must be In Stock. So you would get alerted for the PS4 costing £328.00, if your lowest was £329.00 inc delivery in your subs; shown in blue text as Your best price prior. Subs are unique. They depend on the current lowest price when you subscribed. But you can reset if you missed - for example you might have the £99 Xbox360 and £149 Wii U - both are rare and mean you won't get alerted again until a cheaper price comes along. Errors usually get fixed and occasionally there are mispriced goods. More than one occasion retailers have price glitches. Game put 360 consoles up at 14.99 and so I tweeted them to say they had mispriced .
Price Glitches: Mispriced goods could be cancelled and must be returned by distance trading laws... You might have heard the news the time Zavvi sold LBP game but sent console bundles to customers, then threatening legal action if they didn’t return the consoles. Get lucky on a mispriced bargain: Sometimes they sell out super fast 1 day, other times they might not notice, so it pays to subscribe to console price drops by adding yourself to the page sub list when logged in.

Do not share bargains that can’t be bought rule! Because GameStock only track in stock prices. Any shop can claim to have the cheapest price, but if they never allow you to buy it at that price it’s considered SPAM ADVERTISING by us, and we will hide their store on comparison pages also stores that have very low sales to click ratio get hidden to provide a better experience. Newsworthy authority Sites get paid to endorse and promote - GameStock gets paid comission on actual confirmed sales; to some partner sites. To unlock non paying advertisers and to view price charts login. It’s free and costs nothing. All we ask is that you stay active on site as there’s no point sending unwanted emails.
