PS4 Vs Xbox One Sales Figures
My online research revealed the following facts. (which you might or might not agree with.)Pre-order Xbox One numbers have surpassed those of the 360; which might be due to, more people are gaming these days, or simply more people want one sooner.
PS4 is outselling Xbox One by 1.7:1 ratio according vgchartz.com.
107k Xbox 360s where shifted in the US during July! What's shocking here is that those sales came AFTER Xbox One got announced for 2013 release.
Xbox One marketing has done a number of u-turns to appease feedback concerning DRM and always-online restrictions, which have now both been canned.
Vs.
PS4 marketing "cheaper next gen gaming." & lots of MS Xb1 bashing.
How are the game sales looking for both consoles? Well from charts based on pre-order number PS4 games outsell Xbox One (marginally). Did Microsoft add in FIFA 14 digital to skew calculations? Will digital games sales outnumber boxed games? that was MS plan with Xb1 - bypass retailers, serve and sell online in their own store that has far greater profits and way cheaper overheads. Plan B took effect in August when Microsoft tweeted they'd ditch both constraints.
The makers' fighting territory is of course America. That's why over there, they will pay less for next gen consoles than here.
Will this see the rise of PlayStation gaming dominance once again?
Gamers generally have more online friends than any other user base. Online, players discuss, share and join communities. Which means they follow friends, who follow friends. If the overall community slate one system, the next gen war could be over sooner than you thought.

RRP @ £429: Xbox1 is significantly MORE expensive than in USA, where it's $499 (£320 GBP). Why is that, Microsoft?
